So I came here for my son. On one occasion we saw a pediatrician and the other, the dentist.
In the first visit for the pediatrician, we needed to register for the hospital on the first floor desk. We didn't have an appointment. You take a number and wait for your number to be called, they set you up in their system, match you up with a doctor, give you a Sanno card, and then you wait to see the Doctor.
We paid 1,400 yen for the visit - including medicine.
For the dentist, we called ahead of time. But our appointment had to be 3 weeks away as it was only a routine checkup. If it's an emergency, they will fit you in earlier. We didn't pay anything for this visit as it was considered a consultation.
On both occasions, the pediatrician and dentist didn't speak any English. But the interpreters are fantastic! So it's ok... the appointments were still thorough.
For the meantime, we will keep coming here.
The environment of the hospital is very nice. It looks like the equivalent to a private hospital in the USA.
In the lobby there's a grand piano where they even have concerts! (Yelp.com)
Lastly, there is free bike parking just outside the front door.
